There are number of conversations I've seen around that have led me to this topic. I suppose it should come as no surprise that as much as min-maxxing and powergaming and other forms of retardation can make videogame appreciation beyond a set of abstract boxes to check impossible, the same just as easily, if not more easily, applies to actual sports which are in terms of pure rule-set are even less robust than most videogames (since sports relies on physical reality to do all the "hardcoding")

Well, as it so happens I am not really a sports guy, and certainly not in the sense of audience member. Outside of fishing which is almost debatable in its status as a sport, I don't really care. But the ever-recurring soyjak above is about an accurate description of it as far as the average fisherman goes. It strikes me at this exact moment that this is a similar sort of paradoxical position the average gamer takes especially with competitive games. I could probably write a lot of stuff about fishing and it's something of a unique experience, there aren't very many things that are similar to it, but for the average Joe, it's mostly just a way to kill time. And I do take a certain sadistic pleasure in the fact most people are totally inept at this hobby and get skunked every single time. For once, the interest can actually gatekeep itself which doesn't happen in competitive gaming.

Simultaneously, this type of content is made for them and caters to them and their approach. And it's not just "content" we are talking about here. It's an industry going back long before that word was even used in the way it is today. There is a common saying even among people who fish that lures "catch fishermen, not fish" but this is no cause for self-examination or attempting to understand the situation whatsoever. At the exact same time the average moron on the shoreline is more or less just getting out of the house to drink beer, enjoy some outdoors and get away from his nagging cunt wife, gear and plastic spergery is the default. Which is bizarre, because it's an excuse anyway, so who fucking cares? And this stuff is never cheap. The economics behind plastic fishing crap are quite excellent because the mere characteristic of having different colors is sufficient to warrant you buying an entire other set (if not 5 or 6) of plastic worms that otherwise have the exact same profile. Rinse and repeat for each set of colors for each different profile and size and shape of bait and you've got an ideal consumption cycle for bored normiecons to spend hundreds of dollars on monthly the world over.

This is not unique to fishing either. Sports are not entirely divorcible from gaming by their nature, and every other sport has similarly lucrative industry built up around mere consumption of things adjacent to the playing of the game itself, whether its baseball cards or football memorabilia or whatever the hell else. As with the spread of info of all hobbies, many sports become a simple matter of "spreadsheets" and meaningless statistics and which ever negro kicks the most like a robot. With athletes the component of physical expression is more or less lost, as in fishing the mental stimulation is replaced with a follow chart where you loosely examin the weather and then pick the corrosponding color and "action" of bait. Expression is not really a factor in fishing, rather it's more meditative and about studying ecology. But in both cases any higher sense of dignity in athleticism as well as in outdoorsy stuff like fishing is replaced with simple mental loops to get le crunchy satisfying experience out of engaging with it in whatever deformed bastard form the average person is capable of at this point.

I don't really know anything about this stuff, and even what I discussed is something of a stretch, so if you are an enjoyer of sports, I encourage you to share your encounters with Mexican subhumanity bastard-enjoyment here wherever you see them.
Was just reminded of this today, Mexican v Australian boxing.

This fight was controversial on two counts. First, the Mexicans probably rigged the scales because their guy ate too many tacos. Australian came in lower than expected, suspected the scale was off by a couple of kilos to let the other guy scrape through. Second, long extended count to give Navarrete recovery time. They don't show it in these highlights so it looks fine. He gets up after a count of four, fair enough. But he spits his mouthguard as he's getting up. Then the ref takes like twenty seconds to put it back in for him. The clock is stopped during this time, but the time left in the round to fight doesn't matter. Wilson's momentum is murdered and Navarrete is allowed to recover his poise. If he'd been forced to face Wilson another second after getting up he'd probably have been finished in the fourth round.

This was painful because Wilson was a massive underdog here. This was not meant to be a loseable fight for Navarrete. Would have changed Wilson's life. But these guys weren't having it.

Boxing in general is a very corrupt sport. Between this kind of thing and retarded youtube people there's barely any art left in it. I still watch if Australians are up though.

That's how it was for my father and I, as with his father before him. Just a simple way to pass time, it's calm, relaxing, you're all alone, what more to ask for?  Catching fish was merely a secondary goal, always satisfying to catch but never the primary point of fishing for us, for we always had plenty of food at home.  If you're seriously trying to catch fish you might as well just get large nets for your boat, or better yet become a commercial fisherman, I don't see any reason for angling other than recreation.  I can imagine most who watch that video merely wish to improve their chance of success at a catch, but by and large that's not the point, all that does is reduce the time spent by your lonesome.  As we all know by now, Mexicans and Mexican-adjacents cannot live by themselves.  It's not relaxation to them, it's now a game to master and show off to everyone.  At least try to catch some cool fish if you're willing to put all this effort.

I could never get into sports myself either due to this, what's any of this information going to mean to you?  Sports-betting I imagine would value this, but the vast majority do not and it perplexes me so.  I should try to refrain, as my opinions on the matter are rather marked by what I see of the idiots around me contra the sports themselves.  Vexing just to listen to people transform a conversation into statistics trivia about sports, similar reason why I cannot discuss guns with people.  Just meaningless trivia, "consooming" for lack of a better term.  Is it any surprise that roughly everyone I had met that's so heavily into this besides boomers are Mexicans?

Boxing was a hobby of mine back in the day, another practice inherited in my family, I still practice now and again and my old sparring partner was a Mexican.  In all honesty, he was exceptionally kind and soft-spoken for a wetback, but one could easily observe he was passionate only to impress his friends.  Days he spent painstakingly watching retarded YouTube videos whilst shadowboxing to improve his "skill", I had no better to do than to help indulge the man time to time.  His friends, also Mexicans, were rather poor and sloppy players.  I would have thought all the time they spent watching and practising with one another would rub off, but they were so lousy and cheap, not even primed for amateur play.  It was just so... pathetic, the way they did the same shit over and over again being so predictable, and yet they still thought of themselves as boxing aficionados who consumed all the content and followed all the latest BOXING NEWS, making sure to oft repeat the latest fights to me.  One of those companions had even surprised me that he was a 4chan dweller, a /fit/izen no doubt, reflected in his bodybuilding and gym obsessions that produced rather poor results.  Everything was poor, shallow, performative with them.

Whatever, I ramble too much, but I just hold very little interest in sports owing to people like this, I had said earlier boxing was a hobby of mine but that's it, a hobby.  A simple act of recreation and meditation even, I hold no designs to share with communities obsessed with such information and learning STRATEGIES to make the most out of my time.  I want to have fun, and this isn't, they're only performing because they see others do it and want their piece as well.  And as always, they'll find a way to ruin it for everyone else.

The headbutt here always seemed like a faggot move to me. It's as if he had one too many cervezas at the backyard quinceañera‎ and when he gets called out for the cheap shot he thinks that the "ey come on man we are familia" apology fixes everything.

Yea, this stuff really pisses me off due to this seeming desire for void. There is no reason to think people need to watch videos and content and consoooom in order to understand something since most human life pre-dates this. In all cases, trying new things, paying attention to outcomes, attentive engagement with anything is not only sufficient to learn how to be skilled but really is the only way to do so. The guide followers can perhaps learn to reproduce a few tricks here and there to imply some level of knowledge, but they never truly understand anything and it's their own fault. Incidentally, they end up hollowing out much of the useful "insider terminology" through their association with it.

Amidst the rhythmic cadence of Mexican sports, where passion and camaraderie intertwine like the steps of a traditional dance, there is an ever-evolving dialogue that echoes through the stadiums and arenas – a dialogue that resonates with themes of diversity, acceptance, and the kaleidoscope of human experience. 🏟️🎉🌈

Homosexuality, a prism of identity, finds its place within this vibrant tapestry of Mexican sports. Like a delicate flower that blooms amid the fierce competition, it has begun to unfurl its petals, embracing the sunlight of progress and understanding. 🌼☀️🌱

In the world of Mexican sports, where the roar of the crowd is a heartbeat and the victory dance is a shared expression of triumph, LGBTQ+ athletes and individuals are finding their voices. The arena, once a realm often painted in the muted colors of tradition, is gradually being imbued with the vibrant hues of acceptance. 🎤🏳️‍🌈🎨

Through the lens of football, that sacred pastime that unites generations under the same flag of passion, stories of LGBTQ+ athletes are weaving themselves into the narrative. They are stories that speak of courage, resilience, and the pursuit of authenticity, much like a powerful corrido ballad that carries tales of human struggle and triumph. 🎵👟📜

Yet, this journey is not without its hurdles. The echoes of tradition sometimes reverberate through the halls of sports, casting shadows that challenge the spirit of inclusivity. But just as a soccer ball sails through the air towards a goal, propelled by the determination of its players, so too does the LGBTQ+ community march forward, determined to overcome barriers and score victories in the name of visibility and acceptance. ⚽🚀🏆

In Mexican sports, the conversation about homosexuality is not merely a footnote – it is a stanza in a poem of progress, a brushstroke in a mural of inclusivity. The athletes who courageously stand at the intersection of their identity and their passion are painting a picture of change, one that resonates with the ideals of a nation that cherishes its diversity. 🎨🤝🇲🇽

So, as the Mexican sports arena continues to evolve, let us remember that within its confines, stories of love, identity, and authenticity are being told. They are stories that ripple through time, echoing the sentiment that diversity is not a hurdle to overcome, but a tapestry to be woven together, creating a more vibrant, harmonious, and understanding world. 🌈⚽🌎
