I have fond memories of the earliest games and the aesthtic Gen I cards back when I first encountered those at school.

A thought I never see raised in discussions of Pokemon, was there no successful American ripoff because by this point Americans had already become completely incapable of making cute things?

I think I should do a Pokémon Emerald Nuzlocke where I name my 'mons after posters here...

BTW, I respect the courtesy of people to use the é character when typing Pokémon. Correct spelling and pronunciation (poke-AY-mon as opposed to poke-EE-mon) is important. Thank you Lutras.

Granted I haven't played pokémon for awhile but the older games seem to be better. I've wanted to see what the hubbub was for the arceaus though and if it was actually good.
