Unless you exist in a hellish clannish society of forced arranged marriages you wouldn't even need to bother sterilizing them.

I’m pretty sure female downies are fertile and can reproduce, I think this would be the more common situation. Unless it’s unthinkable to you that they would get pregnant, if so then we would most likely not have to sterilize the males yes. But it’s still a poor excuse for euthanasia.

It's just like those two scenes. He absolutely imagines himself in these situations while he's writing.

I don't hate this guy as much as you might, and don't particularly care for what he has to say either way (all YouTube self-help nonsense appeals mainly to low-IQ, low-aspiration natural peasants with a distorted Will - Nietzsche correctly identify Stoicism as nothing but self-tyranny, Sam Hyde as an instruction guide for "How to suffer through a life of misery and mediocrity," and the same can be said for the similar philosophies of "hustle and grind" nowadays), but what does make my blood boil (maybe not fully boil... perhaps just a steaming simmer...) is his sophomoric psychological bastardization of biblical parables. "YOU are the father, the younger son represents your intellect, the prodigal son your intuition, etc." No you pudgy, red-faced Celtic-Anglo mulatto, the Father represents GOD, the younger son is the faithful cradle Christian, and the prodigal son is the repentant sinner. You do not get to twist the words of God to suit your filthy materialistic psychologist's narratives about "self-actualization." May that blind idiot preacher Jung suffer damnatio memoriae for a thousand years for spreading this rot, jizzing his filthy and banal doctrines into the divine myths of every race of Man. I pray that Peterson may repent as well - certainly one may apply parts of the Scripture to mean a personal struggle of order against chaos, in personal application, but to say that the Holy Book is merely a "self-help guide" is the height of hubris - banal, mundane, and wretched hubris, at that. Spengler is once again utterly correct when he identifies the whole nonsense of psychological or "archetypal" bastardizations of myths as a symptom of a dying civilization, one which has lost all creative and spiritual energy or vril, whose rational intellect has grown bloated and monstrous and now cannibalizes its foundational intuitive myths and guiding spirit. I now paraphrase a hadith of the Arch-Racist, having found the "right-wing" equivalent to a leftist phenomenon he himself railed against.

everything's an "archetype" or "guide to self-actualization" when you're a Hebraic psychologist chittering like a vulgar SPARROW. sorry fags, life isn't about 'career success' or 'integrating your subconscious'. the Bible is not an insight into 'patterns of human psychology and ethics'. it is REAL &you will be punished for your impieties
Great stuff!

Thank u for kind words guest-sama, maybe I make thread on this later today. The topic of the whole milieu of self-help, therapeutic culture, etc. interests me, as it is a rot that is consuming the Western noosphere from both the nominal "Right" (via Peterson, Jung, Stoicism, hustle & grind culture, archetypal thinking) and the Left (via therapists, HR departments, TikTok psych major hoes, Reddit AITA thread responders, etc.). "Self-help" and "self-care" as two sects of the chthonic Cult of the Self - not the Nietzschean Higher Self, but the wretched and unstriving Base Self.

Misconception that there's multiple forms of intelligence, debasing your will for those lesser than you, talk of "growing up", it's all there!

Don't forget another Ur-Dalitism observed here: trying to glean genuine insight from a cartoon character / treating a cartoon character as if they were real (cf. earlier Family Guy posts).

I also found another comment under that stupid video in the same vein of "treating a one-dimensional cartoon character like they're a real person," with an added layer of implicit institutional boot-licking. We have here a real aspiring corporate janissary. "What's best for the company" in today's parlance general translates to "What's worst for whitey."

I'm sure that Luis Leal has great dreams of becoming a fast food manager who "understands what's best for the company."

I would love a warehouse thread. A fascinating type which I have seen a lot of in my own personal life. The cherry on top for these comments are the little "badass, grizzled, tough action movie hero begrudgingly smirking and chuckling"-type ending comments. You know them when you see them. "...I approve" and "Sure, I'll take it." are two that stick out the most to me. I would love to gather more examples of this kind of stuff. It's a far more subtle version of the age-old "Heh, nothing personal, kid." The sort of begrudging acceptance of both former statements is supposed to give off an air of self-appointed authority and importance. I think these guys imagine themselves as the retired old bald action movie hero chopping wood outside of his cabin in the middle of the woods, and the game developers have searched far and wide to finally bring him back for "one last mission" - the old "I'm retired" exchange cliche. They are signalling their authoritative approval - "40k meets original doom... alright, I'm in." I suspect that this behavioral archetype may be a bit overrepresented in Gen Xers, due to it meshing well with the pop culture cliches of their heyday.

One of the most cringeworthy type of dalit comments is when they "explain why it's good" by literally just describing what is happening, as if they are speaking to an idiot, or making some great insight. It's especially obnoxious with anime because you would have to be a super special idiot to not understand it considering the constant painstaking exposition and voiceovers over slo-mo that slow every modern manga adaptation to a fucking crawl, to make sure even the stupidest youngest children watching can understand exactly what every character or bystander is thinking and feeling at every moment. (someone please make a thread complaining about this phenomenon ruining the anime industry).

The psychological reason for this is that they are very insecure and neurotic about liking nerdy things that, for example, their grandfather would call gay. This results in a psychological need to justify these nerdy things as being good/profound/badass as if trying to explain to their mom or senile grandpa. This insecure behavior unfortunately makes these things look even more gay and stupid to outsiders.

i'm glad you've noticed this type of comment as well but i disagree with the psychoanalysis. i think this demographic is primarily children attempting to show off their comprehension by mimicking the sort of surface-level analysis they see in video essays or whatever shorter form of review-type youtube "content" they like to watch. they're itching to unleash the media analysis skills they've acquired and think they'll come off as bright and insightful by doing so, and perhaps win the praise of their english teachers or whomever it is they imagine they are talking to when they write those comments. something about the language contains some indelible trace of the video essay affect.

My immediate assumption when I see comments of that sort, especially regarding anime, is that they are made by subcons. The writing feels very ESL, and the jockeying for the perception of being "insightful" seems very Hindoo. We may be dealing with LITERAL dalits here. At the end of the day a slightly intelligent but still mostly embryonic sensitive white 10-year-old and an adult subcon male are mostly interchangeable, so it is difficult to discern.

I'm reminded of Billionaire's faith in Julius/aryangenius as a "promising kid". In certain cases a grotesquely stupid man and a naive still maturing human can resemble each other.

Few things more insipid than balding late-20 somethings explaining to an audience of gay 16 year olds the wonderful intricacies of [INSERT SHOUNEN SEASONAL]'s characters and their original, fresh dynamics. It's dreadful to imagine the new wave of media prosumer reviewers that this sort of trite is incubating, likely to herald the end of any prospects of original franchising in mass media. Any indie scene is also stillborn, the waters of the arts are murky and opaque with vacillating pastiche.

Decided to check in on my man Daniel CC Movie Recaps, who I wrote about a bit on Amarna1. Found this particularly strange and funny.

For whatever reason, Know Your Meme comments have remained a time capsule of sorts for GamerGate-era midwit centrism. I suppose it may be a result of a website that selects for people apathetic enough to merely document and maybe comment on the zeitgeist rather than be actively involved in it. When I was 13 or so I was briefly a KYM commenter/contributor (I left after receiving backlash for making a comment laughing about the idea of hunting furries for sport), and it has always bewildered me how it seems like the website and the mindset of its userbase remain perpetually stuck in the state of the Internet around the time I abandoned it for 8chan, i.e. around mid-2014. All of these people have the views and cadence of your average 2014-era "enlightened Classical Liberal" (and yet you don't support chattel slavery? curious...) redditish fence-sitter of /v/, people obsessed with le horseshoe theory who think themselves to be some sort of Cato-esque enlightened champion of liberty when in reality they are just lowly people who hate and resent anyone who has any aspirations above playing (bad) video games and archiving internut trends. I suspect you would find something similar among TV Tropes contributors. We could perhaps call this mindset (which was widespread c. 2014 but like the tuatara has been extirpated from the rest of its range and now remains as a remnant population on a few islands of irrelevancy) "The Balding Centrism of the Hedonistic Yet Dispassionate Archivist." These are people who, like Sargon in his heyday, have no political impulses outside of wanting to be left alone--not in order so that they may achieve works of noble greatness, but instead to masturbate and consume content in peace. Take note of the tone here as well. It reminds me greatly of a lot of the primitive "redpill" 4chan post screenshots you would see posted in those days, specifically this one:

Notice the shared moralizing-yet-badass Norwood tone. "Sit down, insolent 'teen - let Badass Worldly Grandpa tell you how the world really works." These people read 1984 and Animal Farm once each in middle school, but aside from that they more or less have a worldview entirely informed by American public school, Hollywood movies, and history YouTube channels.

Also, obligatory reminder that KYM has long been co-opted by troon fetishists as repository for inflation fetish porn because that's technically a "meme."

"As we know from history, fascism is when the government continuously kills everyone for no reason because dictators are crazy for some reason. This was clearly demonstrated by the mass persecution and extermination of the German and Italian working and middle classes, who were definitely miserable and oppressed and didn't love their governments and dictators at all. Public school told me that fascism was Le Bad, and Mussolini said fascism is corporate rule, therefore that means that fascism is when the Politicians and the Corporations kill everyone because... reasons. You are stupid for caring about things."

If we're talking AI and youtube, the funwaa effect is so advanced now. How much of this is real and how much is weird ESL taste/selection. Does this guy even look at what he's uploading or is he just having chatGPT scrape the internet for wacky pixar posters then telling it to edit them to royalty free music for 50 seconds?

Most extreme case, I've had people ask me if Man of Recaps is real or if this is a digitally generated man reading a computer generated and dictated script? I thought these videos were just highly autistic at first but now I don't know.

How much of this is human? Is any of it? Do we already have rampant AI only instead of killing us all they choose to torment me with ESLisms on youtube?
