This piece resonates with me personally. I know a guy, works basically on the poverty line just to survive, yet has constructed his own neural network and then some with only his head and a few PDFs on how to use C++. Didn't even have a home to live in for most of the time (innawoods), let alone internet.

It makes me sad thinking about how many actual Aryan geniuses out there aren't being recognised due to the ineptitude of the System. Untold amounts of talent lost, how many decades of progress evaporated?

At least it humbles me knowing there is a genius in current times out there.

I don't think Aryan Genius understood the text... This isn't about some STEMfag bugman, but about someone who is smart, but also disagreeable with 0 work ethic - and what he describes are the opposite - dull, agreeable, and can work like insects.

To think he went all this way to (legitimately) criticize the LISP programmer, only to accurately describe the oversocialized CS programmer that was presented as the opposite pole.

I remember someone saying that higher education for the masses could ever only achieve political indoctrination. Also I read somewhere that colleges in early America, which were mainly theological, were only meant for the successful transmission of dogma. 

Even when you think about it it’s not like grouping a bunch of professors together in schools was anything more then the sustaining of a common dogma. If you really wanted to learn something you could just get a private Tutor or self-study, which I had heard was very common not too long ago. Institutions are mainly for the benefits and support that systems provide: Prestigious backing and alumni. But because of these benefits it acts as a sink, getting funding from the college (researcher/professor) is way easier then being a lone researcher who would either have to rely on personal wealth or through winning investments by eccentrics or business owners. 

Charles Goodyear is an example of one of these lone inventors, who was self taught, that was able to advance the world with Vulcanized rubber. A lot of our greatest inventions are made by men like him and not schoolmasters.

So I guess not even to add in the success of another but it’s just a mire that seeks self preservation for itself. People grow dependent on the university and soon their existence is tied to it in a co-mutual relationship. The college let’s me play as a prestigious learned man and gives me money so I must defend it with my life(because it is my life). Most systems sustain themselves in this way.  Kind of like the longhouse but less abstract.

I would imagine that those few that fit the BBM "mold" and end up traversing the "light" path end up profoundly unhappy in life; they either wrap up their education and choose a job that either allows them to spend what energy they do have (and when they actually have it) on their special interests at the expense of making "good money", thus allowing them to be satisfied with and intellectually stimulated by their work but causing them to be stressed about making ends meet (especially if they have a family) OR opt to take a more lucrative job that is deeply unsatisfying for them, which results in them having the opposite problem wherein they have all the wealth they need but hate what they are doing, who they`re doing it with, and find themselves slogging through work each day, desperately trying to stay motivated to actually do their job so that they are not fired. 

Such a person would likely be less happy in the latter of these situations, and perhaps those of them who do find themselves in that second situation cannot hold down a job in the field they chose to enter into as a result of the struggles they face and their responses thereto and thus end up in an even worse situation than the first: working a low-pay job that does not interest them in the slightest while engaging in academic pursuits in their free time. Sounds hellish, honestly.
