More general thing, "foodie" language turning up all over the place. I think stupid and gross people (normalfreaks) naturally want to use words which bring to mind filth, dirt, fat people eating loudly, etc. "Goyslop" disgusts me to no end for one. If you're better why do you relish the opportunity to use such gross, disordered language?

More specific and relevant thing, it's a meme between friends and I to use "crunchy weapons sandbox" as a shorthand for retarded internet babble about video games. On one hand there's more totemic language, "weapons sandbox" is not something thoughtful people say. But the really weird part is food language. Once you start looking for it you'll see it everywhere. People on the internet talking about video games cannot stop using language which brings to mind an obese man talking about a fridge full of food. "Meaty", "juicy", "sloppy", people who talk like this shouldn't be allowed online.

Used for situations where the speaker is acting like a catty faggot about something they are genuinely angry about but want to come off as cool and disaffected. Seems to have sprung from FYAD/Weird Twitter initially but has radiated outwards to the broader online Neighborwood.

Waning in popularity: "Imagine showing this to a Victorian orphan". "Not X or Y, but a secret third thing". The list goes on.

This has likely been discussed in another thread, possibly one of the internet sociology ones, but you can clearly trace the dissemination of 'woodisms across various circles and social formations if you pay close enough attention. Most of them are soyllennial subcultural signifiers that made their way to the broader public with time and sufficient semantic drift. Even tracing the semasiology of something singular like "based" can elucidate the means by which it is now possible for troons to post "Kill __. Behead __." about their least favorite indie game characters. The Norwood Reaper comes for all, including language itself...

Several of these are adjacent to now normal youtube comment structure. "I love how...", "It's funny how...", etc. Both have the similar intent of creating distance and defusing personal investment. Only your examples are what we might call the higher forms of this, with youtube being the lower. Same ultimately undermannish tendency in both cases.

Not exactly a Norwoodism but I see that this thread's devolved into discussing general normalfag ticks so I'll follow: Attributing traits to a specific website or fanbase i.e. "4chan users are Nazi terrorists" or "Anime fans don't take showers". These are completely anachronistic ways of looking at groups since the strict qualifications needed to cultivate a specific set of traits within a (typically hyper-online) group/fandom no longer exist with the rise of mass democratization of the internet and consequentially normal people not existing anymore. 4chan, Reddit, Discord, anime fandoms etc. all house the masses who share the exact same beliefs and the people who lambast whichever group are usually only one or two degrees of association away from being placed into that very group. This isn't even mentioning the fact that these people get all their concepts and humor from the supposed Nazi incel gamer chud.

I believe it stems out of "troll's remorse", if you will. These people clearly enjoy their time spent online (even if they feign discontent, they still rack up enough hours to understand what "Nazi incel gamer chud" means) and away from normalfaggotry but feel guilt due to the nigger in their head telling them they shouldn't be, so they desperately attack some group they perceive as more online to reaffirm their normalfaggotry (which is unrecoverable anyways).
