It may amuse you to know that this manifests itself in Australia with hipsters awkwardly overusing 'mate' - can only assume it follows regional lines in other places also. Would be curious to know why putting on a superficial layer of rusticity appeals to these types so much.

I meant to introduce 'no evidence' too. That is another one. Norwoods are always philosophically illiterate atheists, so conceive of evidence as 'facts' which are theory-neutral and relevant to all observers in all paradigms.
