Some really excellent rock songs on this album - my favorites are Kurt's Rejoinder and King's Lead Hat.

Great album. I was a bit of a vinylfag in highschool and early college so that's one of the few albums I own on vinyl. Big fan of Eno's stuff, I think my favorite from him has always been Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)

Apparently the guy made this album while temporarily blind after having both of his retinas detach and needing surgery. McAloon essentially made this by listening to and recording television shows, radio programs, chat shows, citizens band conversations, etc. The whole album is alright but this opening track is what really shines.

Harrowing and affecting album. The girls' delivery sucks, but everything else is incredible - captures a very ephemeral and psychedelic feeling of childhood. If Henry Darger made music.
