The "well the Smiths were actually just good cause of Johnny Marr" crowd are some of the most annoying people in the world. Morrissey is such a good lyricist.

Here's another song that any "sensitive young man" could relate to. It reminds me a bit of the passage in BAM where's he's talking (paraphrasing someone else's writing iirc) about the idea of homosexuals being men who spurn the inanity of contemporary masculinity. It's notable, I think, that despite the common perception of Morrissey as homosexual he has consistently rejected the label and has had a couple public relationships with women.

And here's another song that I thought of while writing this post.

This song is an example of Performative edginess or fake edgy,at first glance looks offensive, but when you read the lyrics you realise is a very leftist and norwood song .

Type O Negative - Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity
A quintessential piece that encapsulates the incel rage and the ugliness of whore-foid behavior perfectly. A true ode to broken hearts everywhere, Peter Steele was a genius.

Possibly my favorite anime opening song or at least a runner up. I feel a weird nostalgia with this song, which is strange because I don't remember liking the series that much.

There was a discussion in the Shitbox a few days ago about how women, niggers, and nigger women tend to just find one or two songs they like from a random artist, shove it in a playlist, then move on, leading to them knowing a lot of music but being unable to discuss any of it in depth. On the other hand, a self-respecting autist discovers a band, gets obsessed with them, and listens through their entire discography. Notably, we had a few bands in common, Primus being the particular one I remember. I think it'd be interesting to put together a sort of list of 'Amarna-core' artists, musical projects that lend themselves nicely to autistic obsession.

Anyway here's my current obsession, Master Boot Record

love solfege is a Japanese doujin music band known for paving the way for their self-proclaimed "classic art pop" genre. Mixing classic music with elements of rock, pop, and R&B, the group manages to produce its own unmistakable sound through compositions by lead composer and arranger Shinichiro Matsumoto, with vocals by Eiri Ayano, Aya Manabe, and a slew of guest vocalists.
