Correct.

All things are intelligible in principle. The world is completely ordered, and the capability to understand that order is in human nature.

Zed Wrote:There is no inversion - it is the natural path of all science. In a rather clear way, the slow procession to the root is the goal of physics. Understanding of the simple and local yields onto the global. The definition of Gaussian curvature precedes the Theorem Egregium. Suprastructures (political systems, religions, ideologies) may be regarded as organisms and could indeed possess a will in their own right - but they operate in consistency with the wills of their components, even as they retain the capacity to 'shape' those.

You can't reach a scientific understanding of human nature by looking at what all people have in common. All you'll see is the lowest common denominator: only the characteristics that are shared even by the most debased and perverse people. You won't get a clear idea of what the situation is by trying to look at it in this way.

Some people are better at being human than other people. More completely human. Closer aligned with the principle of human nature itself.

Psychology is the science of the nature of the soul. A healthy soul has nothing to fear from a thorough examination.

As a soul grows stronger and more aware, it will strain against the limits of the body that it's attached to as its desires grow greater and nobler and purer. It wants to move faster than fast, so fast that the world breaks. When you try to put these desires into practice, you inevitably have to compromise. A noble (godlike) soul won't let this deter him; his appetite outweighs everything. He'll keep hitting against the limit as hard as he can, intent on trying to squeeze as much as possible out of his life. You won't see someone less ambitious doing this, thrashing around so urgently. Violent thrashing is a sign of good health.

Based on a generic poll I ran, around half of the people here believe in authoritarian/right-wing personalities (with ~25% saying they have it and ~25% saying they do not). I don't think most people here are particularly scared of psycho analysis and many make light of their own personalities and idiosyncrasies in various posts. Personally, I am incredibly interested in deconstructing myself, mainly because I wish to reproduce my self. I've made lists of the media that impacted me, started a dream journal, have sought out every description of myself that I could receive from personal acquaintances as well as from people online in a narcissistic fashion. I'd love to be totally familiar with myself and so I use whatever methods available.

I don't think the common thread of people here is anti-social behavior. Most people here are quite sociable in fact. My mother recently reminded me of how outgoing and social I was prior to age 6, and various adult acquaintances still recall that behavior decades later. I've always made efforts to be sociable but have generally been spurned by my peers. I had friends but was never an actual member of the group. I see myself in someone like jack in lord of the flies.

I think it's immediately obvious that we are unique. Previous generations of right-wingers are incredibly different from us in a more significant fashion than the masses are too the masses of the past. Someone like James Mason was and to this day remains an avowed christian, despite not really having any observable reason to be. The internet has allowed people like us to express views impossible to defend in real life (I certainly tried...). This is is in part because humans naturally resent arrogance from the powerless and in part because we are still very rare specimens. It's easy to come to the conclusion that you are a higher type or that your way of thinking is superior, and difficult to actually convince anyone of this. Sites like the daily stormer planted the roots but can't be said to be completely responsible.

Media is the largest thread weaved between us. The term "anime-nazis" exists for multiple reasons. We've already expounded enough on the significance of japan.

Like anthony has suggested, there is still a hesitation to suggest that film-makers, mangakas, artists, and authors could be right-wing unless they were explicitly card-carrying nazis. If a modern film maker did in fact have these kind of tendencies but chose not to say anything, it would be impossible to know.

Mamoru Oshii like any sane Japanese man has a fascination with nazism. He directed one of the urusei yatsura films, beautiful dreamer, which also includes various national socialist aesthetics, to the point that they're out of place when compared with the rest of the series that is incredibly rooted in japanese mainstream culture of the time with very little and unpronounced outside influence. Just take a look at how rumiko takahashi shows china in ranma 1/2. Incredibly superficial stereotype lacking any noticeable influences. Everything in her works is made palatable to the japanese.

There are western film directors who are far more openly interested in nazism that no one really knows about. Watch the house that jack built. It initially seems like an above average absurdist horror film, only to then have Lars talk about the beauty of destruction, albert speer's ruin theory, the psychological aspect of the third reich, and quite simply, it's beauty. And he's gotten in trouble with the media over it but I haven't really seen anyone here talk about him.

Again, I am with anthony here. It's stupid to write off everyone and everything unless they are a card carrying member of the NSDAP although previously a reasonable reaction due to the various betrayals of whites in society. We are now in a period of cultural waxing. It is our time to start looking outwards and writing our own thoughts about everyone and everything. Critical literature about why Iago is actually the hero of Othello, the quality being up to the people writing these pieces of course).

It's time to cast off the siege mentality because we're no longer under siege. We are like the generation of Trojans born during the war getting to see the outside world and the ocean for the first time shortly after the greeks left in feigned retreat, ignoring the giant horse in the room of course. The siege mentality is about minimizing losses, not winning. Previous generations of right-wingers were forced into it simply because white supremacy was taken for granted by the masses. No one felt that it needed to be defended because it was so dominant and pervasive.

In time, we will come to be so familiar with ourselves as to be sick of us.
