I watched a few of these. Note that every random hood nigga has a brand and title. I run a forum and I don't even have that. I don't think I have the main video I wanted to share here, which was guys talking about that drug 'tranq'. EVERY guy interviewed in that video had some instagram @ to shout out before talking about how they live in Escape From New York. Fucking hilarious. Always got to be ready with that content. As the other poster said, this kind of higher ambitious narcissism isn't as key a factor here, there's a lot of simple joviality to it, but it does still exist. And the lower you get in the social order the stranger and funnier it gets.

I know, they use it as 'agitprop' and to 'demoralise the [so-called] Right' ... that made sense to me for all the stupid actions regarding blacks (Civil Rights era protests, BLM coup, etc.), but I can't think of any reason why such a powerful country would seemingly willfully sit back while letting genetic retards do whatever they want other than the possibility that they genuinely fear the "golem" that they created.

On some level I'm sure some of them do, but I don't think we can ever underestimate how little of a fuck people in politics give about anything. Here's a question for you, why should America's government (at any level, local, city, top) stop this? There are plenty of valid reasons of course, but can you imagine anybody in the american government today actually caring about any of them? Disorder, civic decay, awful precedent, fucking up the lives of people trying to do the right thing, who with power in America cares? They're all either as insane as the people in the street or boomerbrains hoping to die before standards of living drop hard.

Here is an article from the other day about the jobs report. The bit about native- vs foreign-born workers is imperfect because it doesn't address certain demographic factors (aging population) but overall the article seems solid to me. Not especially well-written, though.

Jazz itself has nothing to do with African music. Jazz is based on European music traditions and played on European instruments.



A lot of good jazz music has come out of Europe as well.

Jazz music definitely has more than a little to do with Black American music-making. But also more than a little to do with White Americans. Kind of Blue, THE Jazz record, THE LP OF ALL TIME was hugely informed by Bill Evans' harmonic innovations. I don't have the relevant text at hand, but I think Miles Davis himself alluded to Blue only being made possible due to the part of Evans in his autobiography (he also even mentioned racially DISCRIMONING Evans, possibly stemming from a certain resentment; Davis was never really the best performing musician, his major talent seemed to be in collating bands).

To be sure, an outsized number of Black musicians excelled as jazzists - see Charlie Parker, Oscar Peterson, Cannonball Adderley (the list goes on). But I think the record has always deliberately diminished the contributions of Evans, the kikel George Gershwin, fucking Bix Beiderbecke and the like.

Manga that had enough popularity to become an anime. Most of the freely translated manga is done because the manga got a confirmed anime. These also usually had a lightnovel before them, so you might as well watch the anime.
