Suggestion: Rename "Guest" to "Anonymous". It feels more natural to refer to someone by name as Anon when replying to them, and to name-parse anonymously posted comments as being sent by Anon.

I like imageboards but I don't like features of them being hacked off and considered accepted cultural defaults in a just so manner. I for one see no reason why they are not Guests of this Forum.

The mental tools we've as accrued over that time for posting anonymously (as opposed to pseudoanonymously) and reading anonymous posts are at their most refined when deployed in the service of the highly evolved "Anon" egregore. "Guest" is reinventing the wheel.

An emulation is not being proposed, only a rectification of names. The same entity posts on every site where sign-up is not enforced no matter which name the admins choose to give it. Indeed, this entity may be a "Guest" on this site, but in my ever so humble opinion reminding it of this fact is not worth the sacrifice of accrued cultural refinement.

He still appears in thread listings. I'd like a stronger ignore feature similar to how it works in XenForo.
