Wholesome Anime Trads

"Training" ourselves typically means working at what is already there, through exercise. Specifically she says "train your affections". She says that, but what she means is "Destroy your affections, learn to imitate received alien affections".
I think this is quite a common thing for women. Many women these days are afraid of their own desires and develop a degree of false consciousness about them that is difficult for men to understand.
When I think passion I don't think women. As for desires, do you just mean wanting to get raped by a scary werewolf man who is also rich and le high status and having to reconcile that with feminism?

How many desires does this woman really have that she's had to put aside to be a good trained Christian? Are women really straining against themselves harder than warehouse man and norwood?
I think women have a hard time articulating what they want as opposed to what they have been told they should want, so they end up either asking for things they don't actually want or receiving them and fooling themselves into thinking they "should be" happy when they are not. Women will become dissatisfied with something in their lives, but if saying it out loud would cause social conflict they won't even think it, which leads to mysterious illnesses like fibromyalgia. On the other hand Dbdr is able to articulate his dissatisfactions even if it gets him a lot of hate.

Another example is women who make lists of qualities they need in a "partner". This is just them repeating things they've been told they should want (to assuage their insecurity).

As for the content of "what women want":

It so happens that the impulse which makes men gamble has been left out of my make-up; and, no doubt, I pay for this by lacking some good impulse of which it is the excess or perversion. I therefore did not feel myself qualified to give advice about permissible and impermissible gambling: if there is any permissible, for I do not claim to know even that. I have also said nothing about birth-control. I am not a woman nor even a married man, nor am I a priest. I did not think it my place to take a firm line about pains, dangers and expenses from which I am protected; having no pastoral office which obliged me to do so.

Modesty and slowness to judge is foreign to the Xitter cuckservative. BAP isn't wrong to call them pharisaic.

Very good posts in this thread thus far. I just wanted to document my fascination with this recent character: Someone who has all the trappings (and even intentionally uses the lingo) of Christianity and WATs, but is actually a self-admitted atheist.
This is not too out of the ordinary, as atheists sometimes carry the lingering zeitgeist of Christianity in some way (think of the Mikka tweet about wealthy polite White atheists who are functionally Christian), but I am interested in his fixation on purity and his desire to construct some sort of moralistic system out of what seems to be pressure to provide answers for the flesh-based issues of our time.
One could make any manner of observations regarding why the self-conquest gospel of WATs appeals to him, why he remains atheist, and why he chose the company of WATs to begin with, but I'm satisfied just observing the temperament this person has cultivated for himself - for example it seems his being atheist allows him lowered inhibitions with appearing holier-than-thou, which I actually find endearing.

Regarding WATs and BAP, who remembers this tweet of his that made all the anime trads show themselves to be absolute nerds?

Honestly that was a medgoldian post from BAP. It's just that trads don't know how to express disgust without sounding like a legalist.

And that's the problem in general with Christian fundamentalism. They take the bible as law from an EXTERNAL origin. That's why any outspoken fundamentalist is always accused of being closeted, and it at times turns out to be true.

What is medgoldian about it? The arts of love were always held in high esteem by the Greeks and Romans.
Aphrodite was worshipped as a warrior god in Sparta, Thebes, and elsewhere by the way.
That post did exactly what it was supposed to: make BAPs detractors look ridiculous.

Does anyone take Pax Christus seriously? He's an obvious secondary, tanked his reputation after posting a poorly-phrased tweet asking for proof of a rumor, then made it worse by sharing a glitched Steam link that set his location as Vietnam.

I don't remember if all the data I've consumed back in my rabbit hole binges 2016 were totally accurate, but one of things I distinctly remember is Roman prostitutes were not willing sully themselves with blowjobs.

But it could be be different in marriage, you can lower yourself for beloved. Dominance. But it's just not pleasant from an innocent perspective.

Blowjobs were taboo, yes, and so was the woman being on top. Meanwhile, sex with donkeys was openly written about in the literature of the time.
While we're on the subject of Roman literature, I highly suspect that by your standards Ovid's Ars Amatoria would be considered a long-form MedGroid post.

Pax has always struck me as a Catholic Thuletide, if that makes any sense. Spends all his time reading studies or relevant material for blunt apologetics, personality that makes him prone to feign profundity at all times. Unfortunately he doesn't have the same wit or ability to view things from outside his own cemented worldview, leading him to regurgitate the same ideas and takes to little avail. As zeitgeists have shifted he hasn't adapted and really only has mass appeal within the RW trad community, which while large is not too relevant. I remember him gauging popularity based on how many people in the comments of his pornography video began doing nofap. But there does seem to be demand for his videos on media and history from the tradcath perspective, at least.
I was in his discord for a long time. There isn't really much that was remarkable, other than him creating a specific subsect of WATs that are slightly more indignant, puritanical, and chudlike than most other WATs which gained him infamy among rwanitwt. There was also a really bad egirl problem in there, so they wholly lacked the intellectual and social vitality that usually comes with incel circles, although this could be said for WATs in general.

As for fellatio, fixation on sexual morality (or the humor-driven lack thereof, in the infamous case of Sammy) is core to WAT identity. They all regularly post in nofap channels, after all. Combine this with the fact that BAP represents a major source of frustration for WATs (one might even psychoanalyze a sense of anxiety due to a feeling of being "dethroned" as the general zeitgeist of RW thought), and you have a case where everyone wants to jump in to score easy points on an issue they can speak zealously on... the fault being their presupposition that others hold the same moral framework as them.
All WATs are puritanical, to a greater or lesser degree. Even the degenerate ones knowingly exist merely in opposition to purity. While I dislike sodomy myself, I will note that something isn't clicking in the minds of WATs when it comes to issues where BAPists and their adjacents hold nuanced views. It would take some kind of grand intellectual device to shake WATs out of the binary paradigm between 2000s new atheism "confines of the bedroom" sexual morality and the spectrum of Christian prudish scholasticism-based sexuality. Trying to even suggest the existence of a mode of thinking concerning "beauty" and "ugliness", "vitality" and "weakness", etc, would be like describing the introduction of a new color or a new number. Just really hard to share ideas foreign to the Christian superstructure, like a fortress of ignorance.

"Hahahaha the prude brainlets always reference erotic jap media lol. Christcucks need to stay out of anime, it's not for them. "

is this that buddhist racist on twitter? Buddhism is known for its opposition to lust and for not "celebrating the body"

With the variety of accounts I've seen, the manifestation of a Wholesome Anime Buddhist is closer than you think.
