Already we're running up against a problem because people respond to the GQ with "some Guests are alright" or "I like what they say here", ignoring how frequent they are in certain threads. Here are some examples.

I have mentioned variations of this statement already in the shoutbox but there's a sharp distinction between certain threads circa 2022 (or, farther back, the archived statements of Amarna1) and some recent posts. The recent threads are mostly occupied by guests, going back and forth between each other and usually becoming the majority. This isn't a new issue, which was why originally guest posts were combined into one with lines separating each commenter. It is often that, when you look at these combined posts, the guests spar with each other in blind fury, with named posters usually ignoring it. There is that one guestposter in the Dissident Child Rearing thread which got the attention of others, but you can see that the John Hughes appreciator was more of a punching bag for the sharper minds — a foil.

The main difference between the older guestposts and now is that most users seem to be exhausted lately, myself included. I am writing this message on very little sleep at the moment and have been unable to do longform private correspondence for about a month because of constant insomnia. The thought of using Ambien sounds like surrender. Others may not be caught in so extreme a situation, but nonetheless there has been a hiatus in regular posting habits. For this reason, guests have been able to secure a temporary monopoly on the Forum. They are mistaken in doing this since they believe threads deserve instant responses, even though Amarna is a slow forum to begin with. I am not averse to insults or anything, I just wish it looked more like the violent Undertale thread. Someone else had suggested a minimum word-count to combat the tide of one-sentence interjections, which may or may not work. I personally believe it would end up with certain users padding out their posts to evade the limit.

It's now a hazy hovel full of lazing browns who fill their time with pointless and sacred social rituals of call and response, mutual affirmation, affected disagreements, the communication is constant and the words don't matter. If I barge in with my pith helmet on and start trying to have a conversation with these people I get looked at like I've grown a second head. Nobody knows how to communicate back, if asked to actually consciously look at the things they're saying and try to explain themselves in new words people suddenly get anxious and upset, it's a serious breach of etiquette and disruption of the peace.

I saw /lit/izens as what they were, a bunch of retarded gossipers putting seeming knowledgeable above actual knowledge, you see when you repeat these dumb memes over and over again about authors you've never read you won't be troubled by the fact that most of the threads will go on without your useless input. So every single thread has either multiple off-topic or bot-like replies that do nothing but artificially fatten the thread or replies that only serve to signal the poster's in-group or out-group status.

This thread is very violent but not in the same manner the Undertale thread is. Here insects step on one another to best one another using strategies that requires no intelligence whatsoever, the will to power is certainly there but it is manifested in such a botched way that someone with even a slight intellectual concern would be repulsed. Undertale thread is violent as well but it is violent in a way similar to Homer's Contest, there is ''cruelty, tigerish lust to annihilate''. Superior men fight one another using the most complex and superior method to crush their enemies.

If no other reason is satisfying, we should combat posting styles that resemble nearly every other site.

You speak about a minimum word-count, but the main problem with posts here is the fact that faggots like to dress up simplistic sentiments in overly wordy prose. This problem will not stop no matter how large the word count of a post is.

Well, guests cannot make threads. Things might actually be worse if they had this power. Also, these posters are quite adamant and unchanging in their arguments. Nothing is really resolved, just an endless back-and-forth between guest and user, making the thread much larger than it needs to be. I made a post in the the Suggestions thread and mentioned potential bans, these bans being up to user/owner discretion. If certain users actually are a problem, then this can be handled too provided that everyone reaches a consensus on who's a bad influence. This, and a temporary stop on guestposting, are the two best courses of action I can think of without causing severe changes to the site.

You've described a problem with namefags moreso than guests, it's much more rare to see a specific guest shit up a thread for more than three posts (exceptions being the incels in the dbdr case study and me here (though I am defending the honor of the Guestjugend so it's fine)), while there have been 5+ page arguments between three or four namefags. You mention the Nietzsche thread but in that thread, it's very clear that the first Guests are posting in good faith while The_Author and Groyper make absolutely trashy posts until the only people willing to argue with them are trolls. I think saying that bad namefags are individual problems while Guests are all retarded or something is an obviously stupid opinion which exists only because you lump every Guestpost as being made by one person... There have been great posts by Guests, and also there have been posts challenging the inherent principles of this forum by Guests, forcing people to justify them and understand why they exist.
