Xenoestrogens and increased stress. It's also mainly girls.

He seemed like a nice and intelligent enough guy. Is he still around? I never got to talk to him.

Believe me or not, but he left the internet because of attention from the German authorities. And in between then and now, he got doxxed. Also yes, he had a polite and charming disposition, but people who remember him from before 2020 know he wasn't always like that.

I don't have a hard time believing that. Shame to hear it.

Seconding this. An entire thread about WN 1.0 may be fruitful.
A thread analyzing and ridiculing the preponderance of formulaic Christian-themed based yes chad wholesome chungus meme accounts. Exhibit A: @trad_west_
A thread on psychopolitics.

A thread on "far right researchers"-that is academics, "experts" and other such personnel that study(often with openly hostile intentions) far right movements and causes.

A thread on liberal resentment for their religious upbringings.
I wonder if a thread devoted solely to visual novel highlights and analyses, sort of along the lines of what Video Game General does for the more conventional multimedia pieces, would sound good to anyone. I think the experience of the Visual Novel departs far enough from your typical video game to justify its own thread and I have a big post brewing which concerns one such VN that I have finished a couple months back.
Richard Spencer, his legacy, his novel idiosyncrasies and his Xitter orbiters
I thought about this while playing Gradius V, as the game has a number of quirks and mechanics I have never seen mentioned online, perhaps a general game infodump thread would be okay? I get that the site's thing is more about media analysis, but there are a lot of games that haven't been "archived" well so to speak, and I think it would be "good advertising" if this site was the sole source of (accurate) info on some obscure or forgotten games.

Do it.

Related phenomena. The eurowokeleft who uses being from the second world as a form of street cred.
I don't know if this thread already exists or has been suggested before, but I would really like to see an 'Amarnite' guide to different topics, like art, kino, vidya, life in general, technology, writing, privacy, etc., I have always liked long winded 'advice' and 'helpful' guides for various topics, I remember years ago there was one made by 'Anonymous' (as in early 4chan) that was actually pretty interesting and helpful.

There's a certain type of 2024 older American/Western female who passionately keeps tabs on the latest Vlogger Mommy gossip stories. Imo this is soon coming to replace the station of the old grocery aisle magazine, much in the form of things like "snark" subreddits:

I don't have the patience or interest to properly dissect this phenomenon but maybe other people might find it worthwhile. These pages are very much populated, and the whole thing seems rather crueler than traditional gossip media, almost taking the aspect of  pubescent girldom, even while the content is generated and fueled by women hurtling towards middle age.

I consider this an extension of or related to the Kiwifarms phenomena. Celebrity is a more diffuse thing now, and you can get into more contact with these people and others interested in them. Every remotely internet famous person can get a dedicated seethebase and/or hatebase now.
Traditional celebrity gossip has had its place online for a while, and possibly predates the lolcow phenomenon:

The two do seem to have merged recently and there are Kiwifarms-adjacent sites such as lolcow.farm with an entirely female userbase dedicated to gossiping about e-celebs. As I understand it Kiwifarms also has a significant proportion of female users. It's interesting how naturally a seemingly masculine hobby of trolling/doxxing freaks online has transformed into feminine gossip.
